Shattering the Glass: A Celebration of Women Composers

  • Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral 19 S. 38th Street Philadelphia United States (map)

On Saturday, May 11th, Voices of Pride will be performing an assortment of pieces, all composed by women. From Greek folk song “Dance of Zálongo” to modern pop standards such as “Time After Time,” we will be showcasing the versatility and depth of women composers’ talents. Women composers have been consistently under-represented in choral programming, including ours, and we look forward to centering these creators in our concert to cultivate change.
