Upcoming Auditions

Voices of Pride rehearses on Tuesday nights at the William Way Community Center, 1315 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA — right in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia. If you are interested in joining our organization, we have auditions at the beginning of each semester.

Auditions for the Spring season will be held on Monday, January 29th. Please contact our Members-at-Large at membership@pvop.org to sign up for an audition.

We always have a seat for you and welcome new singers with open arms. 

We are pharmacists, nurses, chefs, managers, scientists and students. We are all these people and more—members of the Philadelphia LGBTQ and Allied community who have come together to create an environment where all members, regardless of their singing experience, can meet to further their interest in singing, to challenge themselves to reach beyond their current abilities, and to form strong social and community ties. However, the best parts are the fun, the friendship, and the fabulous music we perform.

A classically trained voice is not necessary; aspiring PVOP members only require a pleasant voice, a love of music, and a commitment to making great show. To become a singing member of PVOP you must pass a simple audition. Prepared music is welcomed but not required.
